General Services Administration renews contract with Select Energy for 100% wind power Select Energy has announced that its contract to sell electricity, generated from renewable resources to Federal facilities located in Utica and Binghamton, New York, has been renewed by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). The 11-month contract runs through May, 2006. These are the first two federal buildings powered entirely by wind generated electricity in the United States. The renewable energy originates from regional wind farms including the Fenner wind farm in upstate New York.
