KEMA announced it has won the prime contract from the California Energy Commission's Renewable Energy Program to provide technical support services to help build interest in and facilitate the development of renewable energy in the state.

ComEd, Gov. Rod Blagojevich, and Mayor Richard M. Daley announced their partnership in support of the ComEd Cool Care initiative to help low-income customers manage their electricity bills during this year's unusually hot summer. ComEd has earmarked $3 million for this effort, providing $2 million to supplement the State of Illinois' Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) for customers in the ComEd service territory.
Alliance Data Systems signs long-term renewal with Pepco Energy Services
Alliance Data Systems Corp., a provider of transaction services, credit services and marketing services, announced it has signed a long-term contract renewal with Pepco Energy Services, Inc. (PES). Under terms of the agreement, Alliance will continue to host the customer information system (CIS), providing traditional and electronic billing, payment processing and other services related to the support and maintenance of the CIS.
