NRC finds no significant environmental impacts from extended operation of Cook Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2 The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued its final environmental impact statement on the proposed renewal of the operating licenses for the Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2. The report contains the NRC's finding that there are no environmental impacts that would preclude license renewal for an additional 20 years of operation.
