MOST and Advanced Boiler Control Services implement matrix control system to automate Crawfordsville Electric Light & Power MOST (MTL Open System Technologies) announced that together with Advanced Boiler Control Services (ABCS) of Orland Park, Illinois, they had won a contract to automate and replace the existing DCS Control System for the boiler controls at Crawfordsville Electric Light & Power (CEL&P) in Crawfordsville, Indiana.

(OSI) has recently been awarded a contract by Homestead Energy Services (HES), Florida to supply a comprehensive SCADA System and Generation Control and Management System (GMS).

On time and under budget - Intermountain Gas Company goes live with Conversant's Customer Watch CIS solution Conversant, Inc. announced that Intermountain Gas Company has completed implementation of their new customer information and billing system. Conversant's Customer Watch CIS solution went live on August 2, 2004, serving Intermountain Gas Company's more than 250,000 natural gas customers in southern Idaho. Following the successful completion of a Pilot Program in October 2003, the Customer Watch solution was implemented on time and on budget, nine months later.
Six utilities announce feasibility study for second plant at Big Stone In a joint announcement officials from Otter Tail Power Company, Central Minnesota Municipal Power Agency, Great River Energy, Heartland Consumers Power District, Hutchinson Utilities Commission, and Missouri River Energy Services reported that the companies are investigating the feasibility of another electric generating plant on the site of the existing Big Stone Plant near Milbank, South Dakota.

Dominion announces estimated restart of production from Devils Tower Dominion said that it expects production from its Devils Tower field in the Gulf of Mexico to restart between late October and mid-November and reaffirmed that, until production resumes, it has a comprehensive insurance program to reimburse for delayed production beyond an estimated $9 million after-tax loss of income.
