Abb wins $70 million orders to strengthen power supply in Mexico ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, said it has won contracts worth $70 million for three projects to strengthen Mexico's power supply. Pepco in production with Miner & Miner's dynamic outage mapping Pepco, an electric utility serving the Washington, DC and Maryland areas, went into production in July with an ESRI ArcIMS-based Dynamic Outage Mapping System (DOMS) built and customized by Miner & Miner. ABB to provide turbine diagnostic software for AmerenUE power plants ABB, a leader in power and automation technologies solutions, received contracts from AmerenUE to install Expert Advisor turbine health assessment software at AmerenUE's Labadie, Rush Island and Sioux power plants, all located in Missouri. When the contracts are completed, Expert Advisor will be monitoring eight AmerenUE turbine generators with a combined capacity of 4,600 MW.
