InStep Software to supply historian software for SMEPA

Chicago, IL, Aug. 13, 2008 -- InStep Software LLC announced that South Mississippi Electric Power Association (SMEPA) has selected InStep's eDNA historian software to collect, store, display and report information from SMEPA's GE XA/21 energy management system, Foxboro I/A DCS, and other plant control systems. The software will be used to support operational decision making for over 1,600 miles of high-voltage transmission line and generation plant operations and maintenance for SMEPA's plant Morrow.
