MDU Resources selects Exstream Software to consolidate billing systems

Palo Alto, CA, June 12, 2008 -- Exstream Software by HP announced that MDU Resources Group Inc. has selected its Dialogue enterprise document automation software to consolidate billing systems.

The three divisions of MDU Resources, including Montana-Dakota, Great Plains Natural Gas, and newly acquired Cascade Natural Gas, use separate billing software systems to communicate with up to 700,000 residential customers each month.

With the implementation of Dialogue, MDU Resources will be able to quickly consolidate its three billing systems and implement a customer-focused billing strategy.

MDU Resources said they chose Dialogue because of its open architecture for integrating with all types of data sources and systems, and its capabilities for creating easier-to-understand bills.
