Indianapolis Power & Light implements new e-billing service

Brookfield, Wis., April 8, 2008 - Fiserv Inc. announced that Indianapolis Power & Light Co. (IPL) has implemented CheckFree Biller Direct HVT, an electronic billing and payment services for billing organizations.

With IPL's implementation of CheckFree Biller Direct HVT, about 470,000 IPL customers in central Indiana will now be able to receive and pay their utility bills directly at the company's website. IPL launched the new electronic billing and payment service in March with a promotional campaign that will run through July 2008. The promotion includes radio and television advertising spots, sweepstakes, bill inserts, Earth Day promotions and e-mail and website marketing programs.

CheckFree Biller Direct HV enables companies to fully integrate electronic billing and payment services with their current websites. The solution allows billers to retain control of bill payment presentation and branding, while CheckFree manages bill delivery and payment processes.
