CGI extends partnership with NSTAR to enhance and maintain energy efficiency application services

Boston, MA, Nov. 20, 2007 -- CGI Group Inc. announced that it has expanded its partnership with NSTAR. CGI will provide NSTAR with energy efficiency application management services, throughout the term of the 3-year contract.

Under the agreement, CGI will provide functional and technical enhancements and application support services for eTRAC, NSTAR's custom built energy efficiency tracking system.

For over a decade, NSTAR has been implementing energy efficiency programs that are designed to serve the needs of its residential, low-income, commercial and industrial customers. The eTRAC system, already in production, was designed and built jointly by NSTAR and CGI's global delivery team.

eTRAC is a Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE)/Oracle solution tailored for enhanced tracking, management and reporting of NSTAR's electrical and gas energy efficiency programs. Features include a browser-based user interface to streamline business processes, workflow management to track project tasks from the initial customer contact through to project completion, integration with up-to-date information from NSTAR Customer and financial systems and flexible data reporting and extract capabilities.
