Houston, TX, Aug. 28, 2007 -- Hydro Ottawa Ltd. completed an upgrade to Telvent's latest OASyS SCADA system version, OASyS DNA 7.4, in less than two months. Telvent's solution will continue to help monitor and control Hydro Ottawa's electric distribution system.

Hydro Ottawa is an electricity distribution company serving Ottawa's high technology hub. The company was able to implement and standardize the technology with minimal problems and in very short time frames, they reported.

Hydro Ottawa has been a user of Telvent's OASyS SCADA system for the last 17 years.
