Overland Park, KS, Dec. 19, 2005 -- Black & Veatch Corp. announced plans to implement a new strategy for delivery and named an industry veteran to guide the new service.
A new Power Delivery Strategy Practice, housed within the company's Enterprise Management Solutions (EMS) division, will provide management insight to clients, allowing them to develop strategies and plans that help maximize the value of existing facilities while accommodating future growth needs.
EMS has named industry veteran Don Mundy to develop and lead the Power Delivery Strategy Practice. Smith said that the complex Energy Policy Act of 2005, coupled with the growing need for utilities to better plan and manage significant capital expenditures, creates challenges for which EMS can offer solutions.
