Microsol expands USA operations


Plymouth, Minn., December 31, 2002 - Microsol Inc, global specialists in utility information systems, announced it has expanded its U.S. operations to provide service and support for customers and partners throughout the USA.

Microsol also announced that long-time industry veteran, Jerry Hansen has joined as Manager, US Operations. This is Microsol's fourth global office.


Microsol is the technical leader in real-time systems for Utility networks for monitoring, control and asset management services. Microsol also manufacturers a range of communication and automation products such as Remote Terminal Units, automated switches and Bell202 modems.

Jerry Hansen joins Microsol team as Manager US Operations. Jerry has over 25 years experience in the Utility Energy Management Systems business and has had a distinguished career with Control Data Corporation, Siemens, GE Harris and Open Systems International.

This expansion is part of the ongoing follow-up to the exceptional interest that Microsol experienced at DistribuTECH 2002. Microsol looks forward to exhibiting at DistribuTECH 2003, booth no: 116.
