Pitney Bowes Inc. will host the electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) site for Bangor Hydro-Electric, a regulated electricity transmission and distribution company serving 110,000 customers in central and eastern Maine. Pitney Bowes' D3 solution, offered and supported by Pitney Bowes docSense, allows businesses to enhance their current paper bill presentment systems with an EBPP method for customers who prefer to view and pay bills online. Pitney Bowes docSense is a Certified Premier partner of CheckFree, which offers consolidated access to a comprehensive distribution and payment network of nearly 400 financial services companies.
CP&L teamed up with General Electric-Zurich Warranty Management Inc. to offer qualified, authorized repair professionals as part of its Appliance Service Plus program. The program is underwritten by American Zurich Insurance Co. CP&L's new Appliance Service Plus assists with finding a qualified service technician and guarantees to replace a covered appliance if it can't be repaired. Appliance Service Plus protects a household's refrigerator, range, oven, built-in microwave oven, built-in dishwasher and clothes washer and dryer-regardless of their ages or brands.
